Data Profiler: Check Data Quality Before You Use It

See what is really inside a file before you trust it: missing values, repeated rows, odd numbers and more.

Bad data leads to bad decisions. Before you use a file, it helps to know how many cells are empty, which columns have strange values and whether rows are repeated.

The Data Profiler reads your file and shows a card for each column with its type, missing values, unique values and a chart. It also warns you about duplicates, outliers and extra spaces.

You can download the result as an HTML report to share with your team. By default the report has statistics only, not your real values.

How to use the Data Profiler: step by step

  1. Open the Data Profiler.
  2. Upload your file, or click the sample to try it.
  3. Read the summary at the top, then the card for each column.
  4. Click Download HTML report to share the result.

When to use the Data Profiler

  • Checking a new dataset before analysis
  • Finding columns with many missing values
  • Spotting duplicate rows
  • Sending a data quality report to a colleague

Tip: Example values are added to the report only if you tick the box, so you can share it safely.
